Featured Weddings: Tessa & Austin

There are weddings we host that feel like family and then there are weddings that are family. On June 27, 2025, Tessa & Austin were married here at Terra Valley Farms, turning a place she knows by heart into the setting for one of the most meaningful days of her life.

If you’ve been around the farm, you know Tessa as the calm presence behind the scenes, she’s the one making timelines work, answering questions, and quietly holding space for other couples. Watching her step into the role of bride, at a place she helps care for day in and day out, felt deeply full-circle for all of us.

Just before the ceremony, rain swept through the valley. Not a downpour but the kind of Pacific Northwest rain that softens everything. The garden darkened and deepened, greens turned richer, and the air took on that unmistakable stillness that only comes after a storm. The rain passed as the guests arrived and took their seats, leaving the day moody, cinematic, and quietly electric.

A Ceremony After the Rain

The ceremony unfolded beneath an overcast sky, with clouds hanging low and light diffused just enough to make everything feel intimate. Framed by all-white florals, layered, textural, and timeless, the garden felt both elevated and understated. Tessa & Austin said “I do” in a moment that felt grounded and unforced. Emotional without spectacle. Tender without excess. A reminder that the day doesn’t need perfection to be deeply meaningful.

Elegant, Easy, and Entirely Them

Their vision balanced classic elegance with ease. Guests arrived in black formal cocktail attire, setting a refined tone that still felt relaxed and celebratory. White florals carried through the day, letting texture and scale speak louder than color, while candlelight was everywhere — lining tables, clustering at the bar, glowing along pathways. It was a lot of candles, and the effect was unmistakable: warm, intimate, and quietly romantic as the light faded.

Nothing about the day felt overproduced or rushed. Just thoughtful details, genuine connection, and the steady warmth of two people completely at home with one another.

As afternoon slipped into evening, the celebration unfolded naturally. Heartfelt toasts, shared meals, and laughter that carried easily across the property. When the dance floor opened, it filled quickly. The kind of night where conversation and celebration blur together, candlelight flickers low, and time moves differently.

The Team That Brought It All Together

A Full-Circle Kind of Day

Hosting Tessa & Austin’s wedding was a reminder of why we do this work. Not because of the setting or the design — though both were beautiful — but because of trust, community, and watching someone who gives so much to this place be celebrated in return.

Rain and all, it was exactly right.

Congratulations, Tessa & Austin.
We’re so honored the farm could hold such an important chapter of your story.
