After the Flood: Clean Up & Carry On Presale

Hi friends —

First, thank you. We’ve received so many messages checking in on us, our land, and our animals over the past few days. Your care, concern, and offers of help have meant more than we can properly express.

This week’s storms brought historic flooding to Snohomish County, with river levels reaching heights not seen in decades. While much of the region was impacted, we want to share what this meant for Terra Valley Farms.

  • Our venue and all main farm buildings are safe. The spaces where we host weddings, events, and core farm operations did not take on water, and we’re incredibly grateful for that.

  • Our equipment shed did flood. This resulted in significant damage to tools, equipment, and stored materials. The scope of the loss is still unfolding, and while it feels overwhelming, we’re trying to take it one step at a time.

  • All of our animals are safe and sound. Every animal was moved to higher ground and is doing well. Their safety was our top priority, and we’re deeply relieved.

  • Our crops are still a question mark. Some fields remain under water, so we’re in a waiting period:

    • We’re feeling optimistic about our blueberries and raspberries

    • Many of our strawberries are still submerged, and we won’t know the full impact until waters fully recede and plants have time to respond

Right now, we’re focused on safety, cleanup, and caring for the land as it recovers.

Thank You for Reaching Out

We want to acknowledge every message, email, DM, and note of encouragement. Knowing that so many of you care — not just about what we grow, but about the land, the animals, and the people behind it — has been incredibly grounding during a difficult week.

How You Can Support — Presale Now Live

This offseason, we’ve been quietly working toward launching our farmstand and webstore. Several of you have asked how you can support us right now, so we’ve opened a presale for our community.

The presale is live now through January 31.

This presale is:

  • A way to shop early before our public launch

  • A way to support farm recovery and offseason operations

  • A small but meaningful step forward as we regroup and rebuild

Shop Presale

Whether you choose to participate or simply continue cheering us on from afar, please know how grateful we are for this community.

Thank you for standing with us, for believing in small farms, and for being part of Terra Valley Farms — especially when things get hard.

With gratitude,
Chelcie & the Terra Valley Farms Team
